H3 Embarks on Architectural Tour of Europe

arch-europe.jpg

100 projects, 50 days describes an extraordinary trip during which one hundred European architectural masterpieces will be visited within a time span of fifty days. That is what the promising young Dutch architect Joris Lüchinger is planning to do. He will be in good company, as he will travel with artists, architects and… a HUMMER H3. The vehicle fits perfectly with the plan. It has a strong character that produces legends and transcends mediocrity—a true icon of style.

An essential aspect is the manner in which the various projects are approached by Joris: it’s not just about the hundred masterpieces; it’s also about the time between—the journey. You can join Joris and the HUMMER H3 via the ‘HUMMER Travel Log’. The journey takes place between 1 May and 20 June 2006.

  1. I’m not sure anymore if you are being sarcastic here. Do you really like Hummers? Or you despict them as ridiculously big, power hungry, dangerous (for others) , egoistical and the list goes on?

You humour is either very subtle and I don’t fully get it, or you REALLY dig hummers?

  3. So did they get a government grant to pay for gas on this architectural tour?
